Europe’s The Final Countdown Album Celebrates 40 Years, Propelling Swedish Band to Global Success
Forty years have passed since Europe released their iconic album, The Final Countdown, a record that propelled the Swedish hard rock band from local success to global stardom. The album, released in 1986 through Epic Records, reached the No. 8 spot on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart and achieved multi-platinum status worldwide.
