DC Universe Online: Supergirl’s Children of Krypton Story Now Available

Daybreak Games has recently launched a new chapter for DC Universe Online, focusing on a Supergirl-centric story called Children of Krypton: Shadows Over Argo. This content is free for all players and introduces a new area in the Sunken Argo City, a city that was once a thriving hub on Krypton but now lies at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. Players can dive into this submerged world to uncover Supergirl’s origins and recruit her as an ally before June 29.

The storyline kicks off with Chapter One: Shadows Over Argo, where players are tasked with hunting down Kryb and delving into the secrets hidden within the submerged Argo City. What was once a sanctuary for Kryptonians has now become a battleground fraught with control, corruption, and twisted experiments. With Supergirl leading the charge and supported by allies like Aquaman, Mera, Blue Lantern Luzia, and Krypto, players must unravel Kryb’s nefarious schemes and thwart the impending threat to both Atlantean and Kryptonian legacies.

The addition of the Sunken Argo City as a playable open-world zone offers players a chance to explore the fractured districts of this underwater metropolis, now plagued by Atlantean forces, Red Kryptonite corruption, and Trench infestations. Additionally, new raid, alert, and solo missions provide challenges for players of all levels, including the opportunity to tackle Kryb’s twisted experiments in the depths of Argo City and confront the unstable Sunstone Refinery.

Classic conflicts are revisited in updated Flashback content, allowing players to relive past encounters scaled to their current progression. These Flashback versions will be available until the next chapter launches, providing players with a chance to earn rewards unique to the Shadows Over Argo storyline.

New gameplay elements introduced with Children of Krypton include Sunstone Fragments as currency, Red K-Radiation augments, Red Kryptonite-infused Exobytes, Red Kryptonite Stability Matrix catalysts, and the Might of Krypton gear inspired by Supergirl #36.
