Tickets for the performance will be available for purchase starting Friday, July 10 at 10 a.m. through various ticketing platforms, including 313Presents.com, LiveNation.com, and Ticketmaster.com.
Elfman’s musical journey began when he was the singer-songwriter of the iconic rock band Oingo Boingo. Over the course of the last forty years, he has crafted more than 100 feature film scores, in addition to producing compositions for television, stage productions, and classical concert performances.
In recent times, Elfman revisited his rock music roots with his album ‘Big Mess,’ a blend of rock and orchestral sounds. This unique fusion has metamorphosed into an acclaimed concert experience titled ‘From Boingo to Batman to Big Mess and Beyond.’ The show, which made its debut at Coachella in 2022, seamlessly entwines Elfman’s new compositions with Oingo Boingo classics and popular film scores, receiving widespread critical acclaim. Notably, Elfman has collaborated with artists such as The Weeknd and A$AP Rocky. This fall, he is all set to unveil his highly anticipated new album under Sumerian Records, following the success of his 2021 release, ‘Big Mess,’ and is slated to perform at prominent music festivals such as Shaky Knees, Louder Than Life, and Aftershock.
Elfman’s most recognized collaboration remains with director Tim Burton, scoring a total of 18 films for him, including cinematic masterpieces like Batman, Pee-wee’s Big Adventure, Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, among others. He also provided the singing voice of Jack Skellington in the cult classic, The Nightmare Before Christmas. Additionally, Elfman has worked on projects with other esteemed directors like Sam Raimi, contributing to movies such as Spider-Man, Darkman, A Simple Plan, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, as well as with Gus Van Sant on films like To Die For, Good Will Hunting, and Milk. His musical expertise extends to the Men in Black trilogy, television theme compositions for popular shows like The Simpsons, Desperate Housewives, and Stuart Fails to Save the Universe, which will air on HBO Max in July 2026.
Throughout his illustrious career, Elfman has achieved remarkable success, including four Academy Award nominations, a GRAMMY award, two Emmy Awards, multiple Saturn Awards, and accolades such as the Society of Composers & Lyricists’ lifetime achievement recognition, the Max Steiner Film Music Award, and the Cheval Noir from Fantasia Festival.
In addition to his numerous accolades, Elfman’s recent projects include composing music for Universal Orlando’s Dark Universe world, scoring films like Luc Besson’s Dracula, Gus Van Sant’s Deadman’s Wire, and Sam Raimi’s Send Help. Furthermore, Elfman played a pivotal role in A$AP Rocky’s chart-topping album “Don’t Be Dumb,” providing multiple string arrangements and featuring in the music video for the single “Punk Rocky.” He also made a special appearance with Rocky on SNL, showcasing his versatility and ongoing commitment to exploring diverse musical realms.
