Black Tusk cancels all remaining shows in 2026
Savannah’s Black Tusk, known for their sludge metal sound, unfortunately, have had to cancel all their upcoming live performances for the rest of 2026. This includes their scheduled August tour across the U.S. with Hoaxed.
In a heartfelt message shared on their social media platforms, the band revealed that a series of injuries affecting both core band members and their temporary fill-in touring musicians, combined with certain members needing time for personal matters and family commitments, have necessitated this decision to step back from the road.
“We’re really sorry to have to do this, but we need to prioritize ourselves right now,” the band expressed. “We aim to reemerge in 2027 with a limited touring schedule and, in the meantime, we plan to head back to the studio to craft our next album following ‘The Way Forward’.”
The band expressed deep gratitude to their fans for their unwavering support over 2026 and throughout their 21-year music career, assuring them of their intention to return to the stage at the appropriate time. Unfortunately, this also means the cancellation of all their remaining shows for the year, including the summer tour, due to these unavoidable circumstances. Black Tusk’s most recent studio album, ‘The Way Forward’, was released in 2024 through Season of Mist.
The band shared their thoughts and plans via their social media channels, announcing that they will need time to tend to their personal and health matters before they can reunite on the live stage.
