Send Your Dad to Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy Camp

Let Dad Open for Blood Sweat and Tears at the Original Site of Woodstock this August

Ties? Boring. Golf balls? Predictable. Want to really WOW Dad this Father’s Day? Send him to Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp and watch him live out his dreams as he rocks out with musical legends.

From the minute Dad arrives at Camp, his rock ‘n’ roll adventure begins. Campers are placed into a band and meet, jam with and receive intensive instruction from their rock star counselor. Campers also have the opportunity to spend time creating and recording original music and take a variety of “Master Classes” conducted by rock icons. Finally, they hit the stage for a closing-night concert.

Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy Camp is coming to New York/Bethel Woods August 12-14, 2011 for the ultimate camp for Dads who love the music of the 60s and 70s. The weekend kicks off in NYC at Gibson Rehearsal Studios with counselors like Leslie West . Then, everyone will board a tour bus and head to Bethel Woods Amphitheater, home of the original Woodstock festival, to perform as the Opening Act for Blood Sweat and Tears, Tommy James and The Shondells and The Family Stone.

Packages start at just $2,999. You can even use your credit card rewards points to send Dad to Camp! Starting last month, Citi ThankYou(SM) Card customers can use their rewards points to go to Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp, which is the newest addition to the ThankYou Rewards collection.

Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy Camp

Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy Camp was founded by producer David Fishof in 1997 as the ultimate music experience for the amateur or aficionado, pairing music lovers of all levels together with rock icons for a first-hand immersion in the rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle.  Camp attendees move from spectator to band member, sharing the stage – and limelight – with rock icons for an once-in-a-lifetime experience. The Camp is also the subject of the highly-rated VH1 Classic’s reality series, “Rock N Roll Fantasy Camp”, produced by reality legend Mark Burnett. A new season is due to air in the Fall of 2011.
