Exciting Teaser for New Collaborative Album from Chat Pile and Hayden Pedigo
Exciting news for fans of Chat Pile and Hayden Pedigo! These two talented music makers are teaming up for a collaborative album that promises to be something truly unique. Hayden Pedigro shared the news on Instagram, mentioning that they’ve been hard at work on the album together in person, in the same room. The sound of the album is described as a combination of “apocalyptic western picking slammed through heavy riffs and maybe 90s Chicago post-rock even?” Intriguing, right?
For those who may not be familiar, Hayden Pedigo hails from Amarillo, TX, and made his debut in 2013 with his album Seven Years Late. He signed with independent label Mexican Summer in 2021 and released an album called The Happiest Times I Ever Ignored in 2023. In addition to his musical talents, Pedigo has also dabbled in modeling for Gucci and even ran a city council campaign in his hometown, which was documented in the film Kid Candidate.
Chat Pile’s last album, Cool World, was a hit in 2024, landing a spot on Exclaim!’s list of Best Albums for the year. With the upcoming collaborative album, it’s clear that both Chat Pile and Hayden Pedigo have something special in store for their fans.
