Japanese Breakfast Tour Dates and Album Release With New Music Video
set to release on March 21, produced by Blake Mills. Along with the album announcement, the lead single “Orlando in Love” has been shared, complete with a captivating lyric video.
Fans of Japanese Breakfast can look forward to catching her live on tour this spring in support of the new album. The tour kicks off with performances at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and will take her all across the US, Canada, the UK, and Europe, with additional stops at various music festivals. The tour is scheduled to conclude on September 9 in Minneapolis, with Ginger Root set to open most of the North American shows.
“For Melancholy Brunettes (& Sad Women)” marks Japanese Breakfast’s fourth studio album, following the 2021 release of Jubilee. In addition to her musical endeavors, Michelle Zauner also released a video game soundtrack for Sable and a bestselling memoir, “Crying in H Mart,” which is being adapted into a movie directed by Will Sharpe. Recently, Zauner even contributed a song for the Marvel show, Agatha All Along.
