Destroyer Unveils Latest Album “Dan’s Boogie” with Music Video for Catchy New Track
Destroyer recently announced their highly anticipated new album, Dan’s Boogie. Set to release on March 28th via Merge Records, this album follows their 2022 full-length, Labyrinthitis. The lead single, “Bologna,” features vocals from Fiver’s Simone Schmidt and is accompanied by a music video directed by David Galloway, showcasing everyday moments like trips to the hardware store, cityscapes, frozen peas, and a cat.
In a statement, lead singer Dan Bejar mentioned, “I haven’t written many songs like ‘Bologna.’ I struggled with the first and third verses, needing gravity and grit. The threat of disappearing needed to feel real, so I called Simone.” Bejar is currently on tour supporting Father John Misty.
The tracklist for Dan’s Boogie includes songs like “The Same Thing as Nothing at All,” “Dan’s Boogie,” and “I Materialize.” You can find the full tracklist and album art below. Stay tuned for more updates on Destroyer and their upcoming album release.
