Tonight in West Seattle, get ready for the first Art Walk of the year! We’ve got the rundown of all the venues featuring art as well as those offering food and drink specials. The event kicks off at around 5 pm, so be sure to check out our list of specific receptions and highlights for the evening.

Looking ahead to other exciting events in the area, the South Seattle College Garden Center is reopening today. You can visit Thursdays through Saturdays from 10 am to 3 pm at the north end of the South Seattle College campus.

If you’re free for lunch, City Councilmember Rob Saka will be speaking at the West Seattle Chamber of Commerce’s 11:30 am meeting at the West Seattle Golf Course. State House Rep. Emily Alvarado will also be at C & P Coffee for a coffee chat at 1 pm.

Don’t miss the West Seattle Ukulele Players gathering at 1 pm – all levels are welcome! For those looking to stay active, there’s a 2:30 pm yoga class at the Center for Active Living.

In the evening, head over to Highland Park Corner Store for a food-truck visit from Paparepas starting at 4 pm. Wine tasting with Clark will be happening from 5 pm to 7:30 pm. Plus, the Highland Park Run Club will be departing from HPCS at 6:30 pm for a neighborhood run or walk.

For a more relaxed evening, stop by Viscon Cellars’ tasting room and wine bar from 5 pm to 9 pm. They’ll be hosting an Art Walk venue with wine available by the glass or bottle.

Music history buffs won’t want to miss the Words, Writers, Southwest Stories online presentation on the “Untold Story of Northwest Rock ‘n’ Roll” at 6 pm. And if you’re in the mood for a run, the Westies Run Club meets every Thursday at 6 pm at Future Primitive on Alki.

For those focused on well-being, join the Walking for Well-Being group at 6 pm at 47th/Fauntleroy. And later in the evening, catch the Doris Brown Heritage documentary “Last Lap” at its Seattle premiere at 7 pm on Queen Anne.

Looking for some entertainment? Test your knowledge at trivia night at Burger Planet at 7 pm. Or head to Revelry Room for DJ Supreme La Rock starting at 8 pm. Comedy fans can enjoy the Jokes at The Junction show at Great American Diner and Bar at 8 pm.
