The Lumineers Set Release Date for New Album ‘Automatic’ and Debut Lead Single
The Lumineers are gearing up to release their fifth studio album, “Automatic,” on February 14 through Dualtone. This album follows their successful 2022 release, “Brightside,” which made it into the Billboard Top 10. To give fans a taste of what’s to come, the band has shared the lead single, “Same Old Song,” along with a music video directed by Anaïs LaRocca.
“Automatic” is the result of 20 years of collaboration between singer/guitarist Wesley Schultz and drummer Jeremiah Fraites, who managed to record the entire album in less than a month. Schultz describes the project as feeling very current, while Fraites emphasizes the strong connection between the two on these new tracks, saying there’s a lot of love poured into the record. The duo co-produced the album with David Baron and Simone Felice.
Before kicking off their spring European/UK tour in Vienna, Austria on April 23, The Lumineers have a few US tour dates lined up for this winter. Fans can expect a heartfelt and connected musical experience from this talented duo.
