Robb Rivera, the drummer for Nonpoint, had to be rushed to the hospital during their show at the Mercury Ballroom in Louisville, KY. Reports from fans who were at the show say that Rivera got up from his drum set and walked around the stage after a few songs. At one point, he even left the stage for a bit, causing a short delay in the show. When he came back, he was trying to cool off with an ice pack. Despite his efforts to continue playing, the show had to be cut short, and Rivera had to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance. Fans noted that he seemed visibly unwell.

This incident happened just three days into Nonpoint’s To The Pain & Statement anniversary U.S. tour, and there isn’t any information yet on how this will affect the rest of the tour dates. The band hasn’t made an official announcement about Rivera’s condition or the tour schedule moving forward.

In a video posted on the band’s social media, vocalist Elias Soriano thanked the fans in Louisville for understanding why they had to end the set early. Soriano explained that Rivera’s heart rate suddenly spiked to a dangerously high level, and despite efforts from paramedics, they couldn’t bring it back down in time. Rivera is currently stable, and doctors are running tests to figure out what happened. The band asked for healing vibes to be sent their way so that Rivera can get back on the drum throne soon. Stay tuned for updates on his condition.
