Joy Crookes drops hot new single ‘Pass The Salt’
Joy Crookes is back with a brand-new single titled ‘Pass The Salt’, marking her first release in four years. This time, she teams up with Vince Staples for the song, which also comes with a visually stunning music video.
In a recent statement, Joy shared that ‘Pass The Salt’ was inspired by a woman she knows who wasn’t so pleasant. The track addresses rumors spread by this individual and essentially calls her out for being inconsiderate. Joy explained, “Pass the Salt is about a woman I know vaguely, who is nothing short of an arsehole, who got jealous and started spreading rumors about me. The song is basically me squaring up (musically) and being like ok [expletive] if u have something to say come say it to my face.”
