San Diego-based indie pop group, almost monday, has recently unveiled the music video for their latest single, “jupiter (feat. Jordana)”, taken from their newly released DIVE deluxe album. Directed by Gordy De St. Jeor, the video combines whimsical and playful elements with a vibrant summer aesthetic.

The band gained momentum with the release of the deluxe version of their debut album, DIVE, which features two additional tracks, “sequoia” and “holiday”, as well as a fresh rendition of “jupiter (feat. Jordana)”. With dreamy vocals and a new verse from Jordana, an LA indie-pop artist, the track takes on a new dimension with funky synth sounds.

Comprising Dawson Daugherty (vocals), Cole Clisby (guitar), and Luke Fabry (bass), almost monday has established a unique style by merging nostalgic surf-rock influences with contemporary indie pop production. Describing their debut album, DIVE, as a snapshot of their individual and collective identities, lead vocalist Dawson likened it to a blurry Polaroid capturing their essence and passions at that moment in time.

Produced by Simon Oscroft (One Republic, Declan McKenna), the DIVE Deluxe album offers a seamless fusion of danceable beats, uplifting melodies, and the infectious energy that defines almost monday’s sound. Tracks like “jupiter” and the popular single “can’t slow down” delve into themes of youth, nostalgia, and the allure of aging.

almost monday is currently on their global DIVE headline tour, which began with sold-out performances in St. Louis and Denver. Their tour includes stops in major U.S. cities such as New York and Los Angeles, followed by a European leg starting in Madrid, Spain, and concluding in Dublin, Ireland.

The band’s video for “Jupiter” underscores their creativity and engaging musical style, contributing to their rising popularity in the indie music scene. With a rapidly growing fan base and an ever-expanding tour schedule, almost monday is poised to make a significant impact in the world of indie pop.
