Ensiferum debuts new music video for ‘Victorious’

Finnish folk metal titans ENSIFERUM have released a music video for their song “Victorious” from their album “Winter Storm,” available through Metal Blade Records. The video ties into a fantastical narrative crafted by bassist Sami Hinkka, offering a grand and heroic theme.

Hinkka elaborated on the concept, describing a continuation from the band’s previous video for “The Howl,” where a young boy evolves into a shaman and embarks on a quest to rally the Old Spirits in a time of war. Sacrificing himself to become a spirit wolf, he sets out to avenge his people’s fate by finding The One. In “Victorious,” The One and the spirit wolf amass an army and march towards the Winter Storm Vigilantes’ city gates, sparking a battle of epic proportions. The intense and fast-paced nature of the song is designed to incite a lively mosh pit atmosphere.

ENSIFERUM will soon embark on a North American co-headlining tour with KORPIKLAANI, dubbed the Folkfest Of The North tour. The journey will kick off in Boston, Massachusetts on February 27th and conclude in Brooklyn, New York on March 30th, with additional support provided by TROLLFEST and NINI.
