Sabaton has just signed with Better Noise Music and has released a new single, “Templars,” giving fans a sneak peek into what to expect from their upcoming record. This single marks the return of guitarist Thobbe Englund and is the band’s first release on Better Noise Music. Pär Sundström, the bassist of Sabaton, expressed his excitement about this new release, stating that “Templars” is the first song they wrote for the upcoming album and really showcases the theatrical side of Sabaton. The band was brimming with ideas on how to bring this song to life on stage from the moment they started working on it.

The music video for “Templars” was filmed at two historical fortresses in Serbia, the Belgrade Fortress within Kalemegdan Park, and Smederevo Fortress, offering a stunning backdrop for the epic battle scenes. Sundström also shared his enthusiasm about collaborating with Better Noise Music, as an independent label that hasn’t traditionally focused on their style of heavy metal. The band is excited to see how this partnership develops, believing that Better Noise Music is up for the challenge of working with a band that brings a unique sound to their roster.

Lexie Viklund, the Director of A&R at Better Noise Music, expressed her thrill in welcoming Sabaton to the label’s roster. She mentioned the band’s powerful music and storytelling that has resonated with fans worldwide, and the label is eager to amplify their presence in the U.S. and grow their global impact.

In addition to the new single and label signing, Sabaton has announced tour dates for 2025 in various locations across the globe, including South America, Europe, and the UK. With their unique sound and powerful storytelling, Sabaton continues to captivate audiences worldwide, and their collaboration with Better Noise Music is a new chapter in their musical journey. Fans can look forward to more epic music and performances from Sabaton as they embark on this exciting new partnership.
