New Dads Rock Festival premieres in Indianola just before Father’s Day

In Indianola, Iowa, the community celebrated an early Father’s Day with the debut of the Dad’s Rock Festival. The President and CEO of the Indianola Chamber of Commerce, Amanda Zwanziger, expressed enthusiasm for the event, emphasizing the need for a festival dedicated to honoring dads in the community.

The festival aimed to create a family-friendly atmosphere where children could engage in activities like making cards, crafts, and gifts for their fathers. Simultaneously, dads had the opportunity to enjoy the man cave, equipped with a 35-foot TV, the Big Boy Toy Zone, and a barbecue station. The festival was designed to cater to all members of the family and provide a space for dads to relax and have fun.

Participants like Justin Shaw shared their excitement for the festival, highlighting the enjoyment they experienced and the value of celebrating fathers, families, and the community.
