Motley Crue has debuted the world premiere of a new video for their classic hit.

The band released an accompanying video for the new collab on Friday, June 20 at noon ET.

The countdown to the premiere of the video included an intro with Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx and Dolly Parton sitting side by side. Nikki expressed his gratitude for having Dolly Parton lend her vocals to “Home Sweet Home” in honor of its 40th anniversary. He also mentioned that some of the proceeds from the song will support Covenant House, a charity fighting teen homelessness that is very dear to the band.

Thousands of viewers tuned in to watch the premiere of the video on YouTube and expressed their excitement about the new version of the song.

The video itself features a mix of vintage footage of the band performing and Dolly Parton in the recording studio singing her part of the song. The video sets the scene with a graphic reading “Nashville April 2025.”

Motley Crue is preparing to release a greatest hits compilation album called “From the Beginning.” This album, dropping on September 19, will include the new version of “Home Sweet Home” featuring Dolly Parton.

This compilation album will mark the band’s ninth release, matching the number of original studio albums they have produced.
