Oldest free rock and indie festival in Malaga province makes a comeback
Palomita Rock, the long-standing free rock, fusion, and indie music festival in the Malaga province, is celebrating its 27th year in Villanueva de la Concepción, Antequera. Established in 2016, The Stone Nipples are a well-known band in Malaga, celebrated for their unique blend of classic Spanish and international rock music. Their performances include songs from popular bands like Platero y tú, Los Suaves, ACDC, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Motorhead. Pocacama sets themselves apart with their infectious funk tunes, characterized by heavy bass lines, sharp guitar riffs, and lyrics that combine Andalusian humor with social commentary. Living Cambodia, winners of the 2022 Ojeando Nuevos Valores competition, have gained recognition for their high-energy fusion of indie, funk, and alternative rock music.
