Blaze Bayley to perform at Dolans presented by Bad Reputation
BLAZE BAYLEY, an inductee of the Metal Hall of Fame, was born on the 29th of May, 1963, in Birmingham, England. His musical journey began in 1984 with the band WOLFSBANE, eventually leading him to global recognition when he joined IRON MAIDEN. During his time with IRON MAIDEN from 1994 to 1999, Blaze contributed to the release of two albums, “X-Factor” and “Virtual XI,” and performed on worldwide tours.
Following his departure from IRON MAIDEN, Blaze Bayley embarked on a successful solo career, releasing ten full-length studio albums, in addition to live recordings, DVDs, and compilations. His relentless work ethic and dedication to touring have earned him a solid reputation as one of the hardest-working musicians in the industry.
In 2015, Blaze commemorated the 15th anniversary of his debut solo album “Silicon Messiah,” sparking a renewed interest in his music. The release of the “Infinite Entanglement” trilogy from 2016 to 2018 further solidified his status as a prominent figure in the metal scene. Subsequent live albums and DVDs, such as “Live In France” and “Live In Czech” in 2019 and 2020, respectively, showcased his powerful stage presence.
Over the years, Blaze has toured extensively across the UK, Europe, North America, and Latin America. He has developed a close bond with his fan base, celebrated for his energetic and captivating live performances. Noteworthy collaborations, like his on-stage appearances with bands like DISTURBED and SABATON, have demonstrated his versatility and enduring appeal in the metal community.
Since 2014, Blaze has been backed by a talented and consistent lineup comprised of members from the British melodic metal band ABSOLVA, including Christopher Appleton on guitars, Luke Appleton on bass, and Martin Mcnee on drums. Together, they have received widespread acclaim for their exceptional concerts at esteemed events like the Sweden Rock Festival, Rock the Coast in Spain, and Headbangers Open Air in Germany.
In 2024, Blaze released his latest studio album, “Circle Of Stone,” and set out on a tour to showcase the new material. Looking ahead, Blaze and his band are gearing up to commemorate the 25th anniversary of his debut solo album, “Silicon Messiah,” with a series of special shows. Additionally, they plan to perform exclusive Iron Maiden sets later in the year.
