“INTERCOURSE Releases Latest Single “Cryptid Divorce Court””
Connecticut’s noisy rock provocateurs, Intercourse, have unleashed their latest offering, “Cryptid Divorce Court,” as a teaser from their upcoming album “How I Fell In Love With The Void,” scheduled for release on September 12 through Brutal Panda Records.
Intercourse, consisting of Tarek Ahmed on vocals, Sean Prior on guitar, Caleb Porter on drums, and Pete Stroczkowski on bass, emerged in 2013. They have built a repertoire that is both confrontational and self-deprecating, taking a critical look at America’s societal decay while reflecting on their own shortcomings.
Their upcoming album, “How I Fell In Love With The Void,” represents their most aggressive work, blending abrasive noise rock with elements of metallic hardcore across ten explosive tracks. Recorded at Silver Bullet Studios in Burlington, CT, with Chris Teti (The World Is A Beautiful Place And I Am No Longer Afraid To Die), the album was mastered by George Richter (Thy Will Be Done) and mixed by Teti and Greg Thomas. The album’s artwork features a captivating photo by Sherilyn Furneaux (Portrayal Of Guilt), showcasing exotic dancer Clementine.
The album will be available in limited vinyl variants, CD, cassette, and digital formats. Preorders are currently open via Brutal Panda. Intercourse will be hitting the road for their first Central US tour with Nerver, beginning on September 18 in Detroit and concluding on September 27 in Indianapolis.
