Families and veterans come together for 9/11 tribute run at Jacksonville Beach

On a recent Sunday morning, residents of Jacksonville Beach gathered to participate in the annual 9/11 Heroes Run organized by the Travis Manion Foundation. The event, now in its 18th year, kicked off at 8 a.m. at the Seawalk Pavilion. Named after Travis Manion, a fallen U.S. Marine Corps officer in Iraq in 2007, the foundation hosts over 100 runs worldwide.
