The Pol’and’Rock Festival in Poland, masterminded by Jerzy Owsiak, has emerged as a representation of community bonding, music celebration, and humanitarian involvement. Initially intended as a token of appreciation to volunteers, the festival has evolved into one of Europe’s most extensive outdoor music galas, drawing countless attendees to Czaplinek’s airfield every summer.

The 31st edition of the festival, taking place from July 31 to August 2, 2025, once again demanded exceptional technical capabilities. Catering to an audience of this magnitude in terms of audio delivery is no minor task, and GigantSound – Letus, a leading rental company in Poland and the largest Inventory holder of Europe’s Outline GTO, was entrusted with the responsibility. Their decision highlighted a deep-rooted trust in Outline’s technology, recognized for its blend of power, precision, and clarity on the grandest of platforms.

Led by Jurek ‘Gigant’ Taborowski, the exceptional technical team managed the festival’s sound seamlessly, deploying Outline systems not only on the renowned Main Stage but also on the seemingly modest Small Stage. Despite its nomenclature, the Small Stage required extensive coverage and necessitated the installation of over 300 Outline loudspeaker components, integrating large-scale arrays, compact systems, and robust low-frequency support.

The comprehensive Outline inventory in action included 64 GTO line-array modules with 8 GTO-DF (downfill) units, 72 GTO C-12 enclosures, 50 Superfly compact line-array modules, 14 Mantas cabinets, and 90 DBS 18-2 sub-bass elements. This meticulous design technique ensured a seamless audio experience from close proximity to the far reaches of the venue, aligning perfectly with the festival’s commitment to offering an unparalleled experience to all revelers.

The festival’s founder, Jurek Owsiak, and the WOŚP Foundation’s goals continue to serve as the cornerstone of Pol’and’Rock’s ethos. As Poland’s most recognized non-governmental, non-profit institution committed to enhancing healthcare facilities by supplying medical equipment to public hospitals, WOŚP sets the bar remarkably high for every facet of the event’s execution, including sound management.

Speaking on the choice of Outline for this year’s event, festival creator Jurek Owsiak expressed his satisfaction with the system’s flawless and encompassing sound coverage, lauding its exceptional bass response and precise stereo imaging. The audience feedback echoed his sentiments, with numerous messages affirming the overall auditory experience being at par with high-end home hi-fi systems.

From the vantage point of the rental provider, the preference for Outline was crystal clear. Jurek Taborowski highlighted the system’s unmatched power and unyielding ‘authority’ at every volume level, attributing it to the system’s incomparable headroom and control, ensuring distortion-free performance under the most demanding circumstances.

The Outline assets, ranging from GTO arrays for extended coverage at the Main Stage to GTO-DF for near-field reinforcement, GTO C-12 for enhanced flexibility, Superfly for compact power delivery, Mantas for close-proximity support, and DBS 18-2 for robust low-frequency reinforcement, combined seamlessly to deliver precise and commanding audio at every corner of the festival site.

The collaboration between Outline and Pol’and’Rock underscores the brand’s focus on projects embodying technical excellence, scale, and societal significance. For GigantSound, it reaffirms that the chosen tools are apt for handling mammoth-scale events effectively. Ultimately, for the festival-goers, the audio landscape of Pol’and’Rock 2025 was expertly crafted to ensure a homogenous and invigorating acoustic experience throughout the event.
