Recently, new video footage emerged showing the alleged assassin of Charlie Kirk near the Utah Valley University campus just hours before the fatal shooting incident took place. The man identified as Tyler Robinson was seen walking towards the university campus in clothing that matched what he wore during the event where the conservative leader was shot in front of a large crowd.

The surveillance video captured at 8:07 a.m. in a residential area close to the university depicted the suspect in a maroon T-shirt, light-colored shorts, sunglasses, a baseball cap, and sneakers. It is noted that Robinson arrived at the campus in a gray Dodge Challenger around 8:30 a.m. on the same morning as shown in the video. This particular footage is the first known evidence showing the suspect prior to the shooting, indicating that he had not changed into different clothes at that point.

Additionally, the FBI had released earlier footage showing the shooter in a prone position on the rooftop of a campus building before leaping off and fleeing the scene after the shooting. Law enforcement confirmed that the suspect had changed clothing post the shooting as he was then observed wearing a black T-shirt featuring an American flag.

Another video acquired by TMZ depicted the suspected assassin strolling calmly through a nearby neighborhood after the fatal incident. In this footage, the individual was dressed in dark attire, moving discreetly without attracting attention. Nevertheless, authorities did not officially confirm if the person in the video was indeed the gunman responsible for the assassination.

The shooting of Charlie Kirk prompted a widespread manhunt across Utah County, with police advising residents to stay indoors. After more than 36 hours, the suspected assassin was arrested and detained without bail on initial charges of aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm, and obstruction of justice. Formal charges against him are yet to be filed.
