GigantSound introduces Outline speakers at Pol’and’Rock Festival
GigantSound recently partnered with the Pol’and’Rock Festival, an event organized by Jerzy Owsiak, the mastermind behind the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP). This festival has evolved from a small appreciation event for volunteers into one of Europe’s largest open-air music festivals, drawing hundreds of thousands of attendees to Czaplinek’s airfield every summer.
The 31st edition of the Pol’and’Rock Festival took place from 31 July to 2 August and required top-notch technical resources to cater to the massive audience. GigantSound, Europe’s leading holder of Outline GTO equipment, rose to the challenge of providing audio delivery for this grand event. With over 300 Outline loudspeaker elements at their disposal, including GTO line-array modules, GTO C-12 enclosures, Superfly compact line-array modules, Mantas cabinets, and DBS 18-2 sub-bass elements, GigantSound ensured a seamless audio experience for all festival-goers.
The festival’s founder, Jurek Owsiak, and the WOŚP Foundation’s dedication to enhancing healthcare by supplying medical equipment to public hospitals play a pivotal role in Pol’and’Rock’s mission. The festival’s production standards are held exceptionally high to align with the organization’s noble cause, including audio quality.
Jurek Owsiak shared his enthusiasm for this year’s festival, praising the exceptional sound coverage provided by the GigantSound team using Outline technology. The festival attendees echoed this sentiment, expressing their appreciation for the excellent sound quality experienced throughout the event.
GigantSound’s decision to opt for Outline equipment for the Pol’and’Rock Festival stemmed from their trust in the brand’s performance capabilities. Jurek Taborowski, the brain behind GigantSound, highlighted Outline’s unmatched power and reliability in delivering top-notch sound for demanding productions. He attributed his long-standing loyalty to Outline to the system’s ability to maintain clarity and power even at high volumes.
By utilizing a range of Outline systems, including the GTO arrays for the Main Stage and GTO-DF for the near field, GigantSound demonstrated the flexibility and adaptability of these systems to suit diverse stage sizes and audience arrangements while ensuring consistent sound quality across the festival venue. This cohesive setup allowed for seamless audio coverage and a dynamic listening experience for all attendees.
Overall, the collaboration between GigantSound and the Pol’and’Rock Festival underscored the importance of high-quality audio delivery in creating an immersive and engaging musical experience for festival-goers. The successful integration of Outline technology showcased the potential for superior sound reinforcement in large-scale outdoor events, setting a benchmark for future music festivals and live performances.
