Destin Conrad has released a new music video for his single “wASH U AWAY,” featuring Terrace Martin.
Directed by Zev York, the black-and-white video showcases Conrad’s alter ego, MR. E, in a modern house filled with memories of a past love that haunts him. Terrace Martin’s saxophone solo slices through the emotional atmosphere, adding another layer to the song.
The track is part of Conrad’s latest project, wHIMSY, an alternative jazz album that achieved significant success, reaching No. 3 on Billboard’s Contemporary Jazz Chart and topping Apple Music’s Jazz chart. The album includes collaborations with top artists like James Fauntleroy, Keyon Harrold, Vanisha Gould, Ambré, and more, showcasing Conrad’s versatility beyond R&B with jazz influences and officially introducing his alter ego MR. E.
Currently, Conrad is on his Love On Digital North American tour with sold-out shows in cities like Charlotte, Philadelphia, and Silver Spring. Rising R&B artist Mack Keane is accompanying him on the U.S. leg, while the European tour is set to start in December with Cari from West London.
