Confidence Man and DJ Seinfeld reunite for vibrant dance-pop collaboration – Tokyo-shot music video released
Confidence Man, an electro-pop band that performed at the Fuji Rock festival, has teamed up again with DJ Seinfeld to release a new song called “The Right.” The group, formed in 2016, combines rave, house, and pop sounds from the 90s to the 2000s, drawing attention with their unconventional characters and unique stage performances. Their collaboration with DJ Seinfeld on “Now U Do” in 2023 was a club hit, and their 3rd album “3AM (LA LA LA)” in 2024 made it to the top 10 on the UK album chart. Their performance at the BRIT Awards in 2025 earned them a nomination for “Best International Group,” solidifying their international acclaim. In July, they made their debut at the Fuji Rock festival, stunning the audience with their incredible performance.
DJ Seinfeld, a Swedish DJ and producer, started his career in lo-fi house and has since evolved to blend club tracks with melodic elements. He dabbles in various genres from UK garage to downtempo house, ambient, and breakbeat.
Their first collaboration in 2023 on “Now U Do” became a summer anthem with its ethereal synths, light beats, and catchy vocals making it to BBC Radio 1’s A-list.
Their latest track, “The Right,” is a hybrid of dance-pop and house centered around sparkling synths and witty vocals from Confidence Man. The song kicks off with a sense of urgency in the drums and nostalgic chords typical of DJ Seinfeld’s style, while the catchy vocals lead the way. DJ Seinfeld’s emotional lyricism blends seamlessly with Confidence Man’s boundless party energy, lifting the overall sound to an ecstatic high. It remains a club track with pop sensibilities, suitable for a wide range of settings from late-night dance floors to main festival stages.
The music video for “The Right” was shot in Tokyo and London by India Harris, known for her work on “Now U Do” and “Gossip.” The video’s urban aesthetic and humorous elements enhance the song’s world further.
DJ Seinfeld commented on the release, saying, “They said no one could do it, but we did. We’re back, and now, even your dad is listening to DJ Seinfeld x Confidence Man. You’re welcome.”
In addition, Confidence Man shared their thoughts, stating, “Good things are worth doing twice, or maybe more. We always planned to do a ‘sequel,’ and if it sounds this good, why complain? This is a hit. Accept it. DJ Seinfeld x Confidence Man, proven.”
With their seamless blend of dance-pop and house, Confidence Man and DJ Seinfeld continue to captivate audiences, showcasing their musical prowess and creativity.
