Crystal Lake is set to unveil their highly-anticipated seventh studio album, titled ‘The Weight of Sound’, on January 23, 2026, in conjunction with Century Media Records. The official video for the title track was recently released on October 10, offering a glimpse into what fans can expect from the record that was first teased following the band’s signing with the renowned German label in 2024.
One of the most notable aspects of the upcoming album is the impressive lineup of guest vocalists hailing from the heavy music scene. Featuring prominent figures such as Jesse Leach from Killswitch Engage, David Simonich of Signs Of The Swarm, Taylor Barber of Seven Hours After Violet, Myke Terry from Fire From The Gods and Volumes, and Karl Schubach, formerly of Misery Signals, ‘The Weight of Sound’ promises to be a sonic experience like no other.
