Today marks the release of ‘Neckline’ (Deluxe Version), the newest track from The Noisy, hailing from Philadelphia. Characterized by lively synths, glittering riffs, and a touch of nostalgic allure, Sara Mae Henke’s captivating vocals exude a playful magnetism that captures the essence of seduction.

Regarding this deluxe album, Sara Mae Henke shares, “The deluxe album expands on the core elements of More Meat, presenting an indie rock sound with hints of country and pop influences, coupled with unapologetically candid lyrics. We wanted to reimagine ‘Neckline’ to embody pure pop spirit. While touring, we often performed ‘Pink Pony Club,’ and we sought to infuse that Chappell Roan grandeur into the harmonies, strings, and synth elements. Additionally, both ‘Pink Pony Club’ and ‘Neckline’ feature repetitive chord progressions, so I was thrilled to explore dynamic variations within this structure.”

The band, led by award-winning poet Sara Mae (they/them), draws inspiration from Spaghetti Westerns, Body Horror, drag culture, literature, queer communities, and homey comforts, blending indie rock energy with the sophistication of classic pop. Their latest offering, ‘The Secret Ingredient is Even More Meat,’ marks their debut with Audio Antihero.

Scheduled for release on October 24th, this deluxe edition of their debut album boasts new and reimagined tracks and will be complemented by a series of visually striking music videos. The Noisy has effectively carved a niche in Philadelphia’s music landscape, as well as in drag and fashion circles, collaborating with artists like Miss Thing, Avery Goodname (Camp Wannakiki), Wet Betty, and Jasmine Schulte to create visually engaging music videos, live performances, and stunning looks. This fusion of music, performance art, and LGBTQ+ nightlife establishes The Noisy as an auditory and visual treat for fans.

In the spring of 2023, The Noisy unveiled ‘Morricone’ accompanied by a music video that marries Strega Nona’s charm with Clint Eastwood’s essence. They successfully crowdfunded their debut album, ‘The Secret Ingredient is More Meat,’ produced by Jacob Lawter and featuring contributions from Josh Sorrells, Ash Baker, and Nyleen Perez.

Featuring a diverse array of influences and a commitment to creative integrity, The Noisy promises to deliver an engaging sonic journey with their latest release. Stay tuned for the unveiling of ‘Neckline’ (Deluxe Version) and immerse yourself in their eclectic blend of indie rock, country, and pop sensibilities.
