Margate Rock Festival makes a comeback at Dreamland
The Margate Rock Festival is set to return to Dreamland, curated by music promoter Jake Cook, promising a lineup of rock bands from both the local scene and across Europe. Following its successful debut last year, this year’s festival will take place in the Roller Room, along with food vendors, a diverse bar, additional seating, and an outdoor acoustic stage.
The festival will be headlined by South of Salem, a rising star in the rock scene whose previous UK tour sold out. Lucifer, the main support band, is flying in from Sweden with Rosalie Cunningham on guitar and backing vocals, showcasing their talents after supporting Ghost in arenas and playing major festivals across Europe.
Other acts scheduled to perform include Bad Touch, Tankzilla, local favorites The SuperMicks, Atravion, Bobbie Dazzle (support band for Alice Cooper), The Motherz, Margarita Witch Cult, and UK-touring band Samavayo. The event is slated for October 25th, running from 11:30 am to 11 pm, with the last entry at 8 pm. Tickets start at £45 and can be purchased online.
Leading up to the festival, a pre-party will be held on October 24th at Olbys in Margate, featuring local bands Black Roze, Man Band, Gianni Scalera and the Jury, HighGarden, and Penny Skint. Tickets for the pre-party start at £15 and can also be purchased online.
Overall, the Margate Rock Festival promises to be a vibrant celebration of rock music, showcasing both established and emerging talent from the UK and Europe. With a diverse lineup and a range of activities, including food vendors and an outdoor acoustic stage, attendees can expect an exciting and immersive music experience at Dreamland this October.
