Christmas is officially here, at least for the Hallmark Channel and the music industry. In an exclusive promo celebrating the commencement of Hallmark’s 16th annual Countdown to Christmas on October 17th, 19 out of 24 new holiday movies are teased, along with a delightful new duet by country artists Mickey Guyton and Drew Baldridge.

According to the talented musicians, the creation of the heartwarming track only came together three weeks ago but felt like a stroke of fate. Mickey Guyton, 42, expressed her astonishment at how the collaboration with Baldridge, 33, materialized. She mentioned recording in Los Angeles while Baldridge did so on his bus. The organic sound of the record was enhanced by the background vocals provided by Baldridge’s band members, adding to the song’s beauty and jubilance.

Describing the song as much-needed and exceptionally beautiful, Guyton emphasized its significance in spreading joy, especially during trying times in the world. Regardless of individuals’ background or circumstances, the duo aims to bring forth a sense of happiness and delight with their music. The synchronization of their voices in the studio and during their performance at the Grand Ole Opry stirred a wave of magic, resonating with the audience present at the Countdown to Christmas Kickoff celebration in Nashville.

In addition to Guyton and Baldridge’s enchanting duet, Grammy winner Brad Paisley contributes to Countdown to Christmas with his original song, “Counting Down the Days,” which serves as the official anthem for Hallmark’s 2025 on-air campaign. Paisley’s involvement extends to A Grand Ole Opry Christmas, where his songs set the festive mood for the movie, performed by talented actors and musicians, enveloping viewers in the warmth of the holiday season.

The promo doesn’t stop at musical delights; it also offers glimpses of other heartwarming moments from Hallmark’s anticipated movies, such as passionate dancing between Jessy Schram and Dominic Sherwood in A Suite Holiday Romance, and a tender hand-kiss shared by Niall Matter and Autumn Reeser in We Met in December. The convergence of talented artists, heartwarming narratives, and uplifting music promises a season filled with magic and joy.

As the curtain rises on Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas, the network invites viewers to immerse themselves in a world of wonder, love, and the spirit of the holidays through a rich tapestry of narratives and melodies. This festive season promises to bring an abundance of joy and magic into the homes of audiences worldwide, uniting them in the celebration of love, warmth, and togetherness that hallmark the spirit of Christmas.
