Billboard recently released the World Albums chart for the week ending on October 18th, showcasing the success of various K-pop artists on the international music scene.
Stray Kids’ album “KARMA” continued to dominate the World Albums chart, securing the top position for seven consecutive weeks and maintaining a strong presence in the top 50 of the Billboard 200. Notably, Stray Kids secured a total of five albums on the chart this week, including “KARMA,” “合 (HOP),” “ATE,” “★★★★★ (5-STAR),” and “ROCK-STAR.”
CORTIS also made waves with their debut EP “COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES,” which held onto the No. 2 spot for the fifth week in a row. TXT’s latest release, “The Star Chapter: TOGETHER,” continued its success at No. 3 for the 12th consecutive week.
ENHYPEN climbed to No. 4 with their album “DESIRE : UNLEASH” in its 19th week on the chart, while their previous release “ROMANCE : UNTOLD” secured the No. 16 position in its 65th week.
BTS, a powerhouse in the K-pop industry, also left their mark on the World Albums chart with five albums, including their anthology album “Proof” at No. 5, the live album “PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LIVE” at No. 24, and “Map of the Soul: 7” at No. 25. Additionally, Jimin’s solo album “MUSE” held strong at No. 7, and Jin’s solo EP “Echo” climbed to No. 17.
ILLIT’s “bomb” reached No. 6 in its 16th week on the chart, while ZEROBASEONE’s “NEVER SAY NEVER” rounded out the top 10 in its fifth week.
Other notable entries on the World Albums chart included NewJeans’ “Get Up” at No. 13 in its 109th week, and ATEEZ’s “GOLDEN HOUR: Part.3” at No. 15 in its 17th week.
TWICE’s Chaeyoung debuted at No. 20 with her solo album “LIL FANTASY vol.1,” while SEVENTEEN’s “HAPPY BURSTDAY” made a resurgence at No. 23 in its 17th week on the chart.
