HAIVE releases new single ‘Bathtub’
HAIVE has unleashed her latest single titled “Bathtub,” a poignant journey that delves into themes of vulnerability, trauma, and empowerment.

Through “Bathtub,” HAIVE delves into the aftermath of sexual abuse, capturing emotions ranging from numbness to anger and ultimately empowerment. The evolution of the song mirrors the process of regaining one’s voice after trauma, offering a deeply personal and relatable experience for listeners.
With her unique Dark Pop/Midtempo sound, HAIVE blends the intricate production and bass-heavy elements reminiscent of artists like Skrillex and Rezz, coupled with the raw vocal intimacy akin to Billie Eilish. Each element of the song feels meticulously crafted, inviting listeners to engage actively rather than passively consume the music.
HAIVE shares her intent behind the track, stating, “I wanted to create something that confronts pain head-on. The song navigates through vulnerability and culminates in rage, not as a destructive force, but as a source of empowerment.”
Originally from Munich and now based in Mannheim, Germany, 25-year-old HAIVE, also known as Eva Betzinger, holds a degree in Audio Engineering & Electronic Music Production and is currently pursuing studies in Singer/Songwriter at the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg. A passionate enthusiast of bass music and meticulous production, HAIVE launched her live project in 2025, performing with a three-piece band. In the same year, she triumphed in the Pinot & Rock Festival Talent Contest and shared the stage with renowned acts like Snow Patrol, Travis, and German indie icons Sportfreunde Stiller. Her music seamlessly transitions between electronic darkness and emotional authenticity, catering to an audience that seeks more than just background noise.
