APG brings high-quality sound to European music festivals this summer

APG had a bustling summer season of exceptional sound experiences at European festivals, with their new UNILINE MAX line array series taking center stage. The Place aux Artistes Festival held in Albi, southern France, showcased the versatility of the UNILINE MAX system across various concerts in historic and cultural sites, attracting over 60,000 spectators.

DHT Audio, led by Damien Granier, curated the audio design for the festival, opting for a full APG setup. The main stage featured tributes to renowned artists like Queen and Tina Turner, drawing crowds of up to 5,000 people. The deployment of an optimised UNILINE MAX configuration with UM210 line array speakers impressed with its even coverage, substantial reach, and detailed sound across all frequencies.

Across different stages, from intimate riverbank performances to larger open-air shows, DHT Audio utilized the APG ecosystem, incorporating iX8 and SPOT 2.6 point-source speakers for fills and reinforcement, as well as DX15, iX12, and SMX15 for versatile coverage and monitoring. The success of the festival was attributed to the seamless collaboration between APG and DHT Audio, ensuring that each performance resonated with energy and clarity.

The UNILINE MAX system continued to shine at notable events in France and Spain, delivering powerful and precise sound at various music festivals.
