Alex Bent reflects on his last Trivium release: “I’m proud of how it turned out”
Trivium recently released their EP Struck Dead, marking the end of their collaboration with drummer Alex Bent. Bent, who has been replaced by Alex Rüdinger, shared some heartfelt sentiments about his time with Trivium and his contributions to the EP. If you haven’t listened to it yet, you should. “Thank you to everyone for the kind words. This EP holds personal significance for me as it was a challenging period. I juggled between the studio and the hospital, pouring countless hours into perfecting my drum parts while also being present for my daughter Layla as she struggled in the NICU. I am immensely grateful that she is now healthy and doing well.
The release of this EP is bittersweet as I’ve parted ways with the band, but I take immense pride in our collective effort. I’m excited about the future and eager to return to performing on stage.”
