Savatage to perform two concerts in Italy in July
Savatage recently rocked a sold-out concert at Alcatraz in Milan, and they are now gearing up for their upcoming Prelude To Madness Tour in Europe in 2026. The American heavy metal band has announced two concerts in Italy as part of their tour. On July 27th, Savatage will grace the stage at the legendary Amphitheater of the Ruins of Pompeii in Naples. This performance is highly anticipated as the band will be joined by a 27-piece orchestra, promising a night to remember.
The following day, on July 28th, Savatage will take over the magnificent Carrarese Castle in Este, with Italian band Vision Divine opening the show. Vision Divine recently reunited with singer Michele Luppi and keyboardist Oleg Smirnoff, adding to the excitement of the event. The 2026 tour is expected to feature a setlist that will include fan favorites and classic hits, showcasing Savatage’s commitment to their devoted fans, known as “The Legion.”
Lead vocalist Zak Stevens shared his enthusiasm about the upcoming concerts in Europe, stating, “After last year’s amazing tours in South America and Europe, I am very excited for Savatage’s 2026 concerts. It will be an amazing tour, with stops in Istanbul, Bucharest, Este, Warsaw, and Leipzig. Tickets for the concerts will go on sale on various platforms, starting with presale on the band’s website on November 4th. Metalitalia.com will release tickets on November 5th, and general sales will open on MC2Live.it and Vivaticket.com on November 7th.
