The lineup for the 2026 Download Festival has been announced, with big names like Limp Bizkit, Guns N’ Roses, and Linkin Park set to headline the event. Alongside them, other acts like Bad Omens, Cypress Hill, Trivium, Architects, and more have also been confirmed for the festival. More artists are expected to be revealed as the festival draws closer.

Limp Bizkit’s recent success has been marked by their new single, “Making Love to Morgan Wallen,” which earned them their first No. 1 hit since their 1999 release, “Re-Arranged.” The song has topped the Billboard Hot Hard Rock Songs, Alternative Digital Song Sales, and Hard Rock Digital Song Sales charts. It has received nearly 3 million streams in the United States alone, with 700,000 radio impressions, and 2,000 digital downloads. “Making Love to Morgan Wallen” is the lead single from Limp Bizkit’s upcoming seventh album, following their 2021 comeback album, “Still Sucks.”

Tragically, the band’s recent success was marred by the passing of bassist Sam Rivers on October 19 at the age of 48. Rivers had been battling health issues and underwent a liver transplant in 2017. Despite this loss, Limp Bizkit continues to honor their music and legacy.

As for Guns N’ Roses, the band is currently on a world tour across Latin America, playing in countries like Mexico, Brazil, Chile, and Colombia. Fans are eager for new music from the band, as their last studio album, “Chinese Democracy,” was released in 2008. In 2021, Guns N’ Roses released a new EP titled “Hard Skool,” marking the first time in 28 years that the original trio of Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan collaborated on new material.

The band’s musical journey has been filled with milestones, with standout albums like “Use Your Illusion I” and “Use Your Illusion II,” and hits such as “Don’t Cry” and “You’re Crazy.” Their live performances continue to captivate audiences worldwide, showcasing their enduring legacy in the rock music scene.

Both Limp Bizkit and Guns N’ Roses have remained iconic figures in the rock genre, drawing in new and longtime fans with their electrifying performances and music. As they prepare to headline the Download Festival, fans can expect an unforgettable experience with these legendary rock acts at the forefront.
