Steve Morse Band’s “Triangulation” Album Review
The latest offering from Steve Morse Band, Triangulation, is set to release on November 14th, 2025. Steve Morse, celebrated as one of the most esteemed guitarists in the rock genre, has earned admiration not only from fans but also from fellow musicians globally for his exceptional tone, phrasing, and continuous drive for innovation that has defined his career over the years. Following a short break from his music commitments after the loss of his wife, Morse makes a comeback with Triangulation, the first new album from Steve Morse Band in sixteen years, reuniting with his long-time bandmates Dave LaRue on bass and Van Romaine on drums.
The band’s previous album, Out Standing In Their Field in 2009, came just before Morse and LaRue ventured into the Flying Colors project with Mike Portnoy, Neal Morse, and Casey McPherson. Despite Morse’s successful tenure as Deep Purple’s guitarist from 1995 to 2022, the Steve Morse Band has always been his creative space, where intricate compositions meet incredible technical skill and genuine emotion.
