2026 Grammy Nominees Announced in Dallas Observer
The announcement of the 2026 Grammy nominations took place on Friday, Nov. 7. Throughout the day, updates were made as the livestream unfolded, revealing nominees across all 95 Grammy categories. The upcoming 2026 Grammys are set to occur on Feb. 1, 2026, and will be broadcast live from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. This year’s Grammys will feature two new categories, namely Best Traditional Country Album and Best Album Cover. Additionally, in the country music domain, the existing Best Country Album Category has been modified to Best Contemporary Country Album.

Notable presenters include Angélique Kidjo, Brandi Carlile, CeCe Winans, Chappell Roan, David Foster, Doechii, Dr. Chelsey Green, Gayle King of CBS Mornings, Jon Batiste, KAROL G, Little Big Town, Lizzo, Masaki Koike, Mumford & Sons, Nicole Scherzinger, Sabrina Carpenter, and Sam Smith.
Kendrick Lamar, Clipse, and Bad Bunny stand out as strong contenders for Album of the Year, with albums like “GNX,” “Let God Sort Em Out,” and “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS,” respectively. Additionally, the Record of the Year category features esteemed artists such as HUNTR/X, ROSÉ, Bruno Mars, Kendrick Lamar, SZA, and Doechii.
In the class of nominees for this year’s Grammy Awards, Kendrick Lamar leads with nine nominations, followed by Lady Gaga and Bad Bunny with seven nominations each.
