Hayley Williams, the talented frontwoman of Paramore, has caused a stir by intentionally revealing the dates for her upcoming solo tour. Originally, Williams had plans to embark on a solo tour in 2020 to promote her album “Petals for Armor” but had to postpone due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The upcoming tour will showcase songs from Williams’ latest work, “Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party,” which made its digital debut earlier this year and was recently released on vinyl on November 7 through her label, Post Atlantic, distributed by Secretly Distribution. The album received significant recognition as it garnered four Grammy nominations across various categories, including Best Alternative Music Album, Best Alternative Music Performance for the track “Parachute,” Best Rock Performance for “Mirtazapine,” and Best Rock Song for “Glum.”
A collaborative effort, the 20-track “Ego Death” was produced by Daniel James and features contributions from Steph Marziano, Elise Joseph James, Brian Robert Jones, Joey Howard, and Jim-E Stack. Fans attending the tour can expect an eclectic mix of sounds and influences that highlight Williams’ versatility as an artist.
Joining Williams on the road will be supporting acts Water From Your Eyes and Snuggle, with the possibility of additional shows being added to the lineup, including appearances at summer festivals.
