Mark Robertson returns for “Turn It Around” by Christmas The Band
This upcoming release from the independent music label Rudolf Music is set to feature the song “Turn It Around” by the band “Christmas The Band.” The essence of this track lies in its Rock and Progressive Rock style, encapsulating the ability to change the course of a situation.
Mark Robertson, a talented keyboardist, is reuniting with Jeff Pilson and Charles Tapp, the co-founders of “Christmas.” Joining them is guitarist Alec Fuhrman, who Mark previously collaborated with in the band “Cairo.” Mark’s musical journey includes three albums with “Cairo” on Magna Carta Records before transitioning to a career as a jet pilot and establishing his corporate jet management business. Influences from renowned progressive rock keyboardists Keith Emerson and Rick Wakeman are evident in his playing on this track.
Jeff Pilson, amidst his busy schedule touring with “Foreigner,” gladly finds time to contribute to the “Christmas” band for the second consecutive year. Completing the lineup is keyboardist Peter Pennhallow, who previously played with drummer Charles Tapp in the band “Eye Timmy.” A testament to their musical prowess, Pride and Joy Music Germany released a 3 CD Boxed Set of “Eye Timmy” in 2023.
The new single “Turn It Around” will be available on November 10, accessible through various music platforms like Apple, Amazon, Spotify, and more. Fans can also enjoy a new video accompanying the release on YouTube. This marks Mark’s third collaboration with “Christmas” in the 21st century, following the releases of “Christmas All Year” in 2007 and “Sussex Carol” in 2015. The return of Mark Robertson to the band is a momentous occasion for both the musicians and their dedicated listeners. Welcome back, Mark.
