A renowned classic rock band is set to embark on a monumental tour after 23 years. The Guess Who, composed of original guitarist Randy Bachman and singer-keyboardist Burton Cummings, announced a series of 2026 tour dates, beginning with shows across Canada in the spring. The veterans of rock music are gearing up to take the stage once again, much to the delight of their dedicated fanbase.

Cummings expressed his excitement in a recent press release, noting the enduring popularity of their music. He shared, “Randy and I are thrilled that our songs have never gone away, and that people still want to hear us perform them live. We are going to go out and honor the music.” Bachman echoed this sentiment, affirming his anticipation of reuniting with Cummings on tour. The duo, recognized for crafting timeless hits such as “American Woman,” “These Eyes,” and “No Sugar Tonight/New Mother Nature,” is eager to share their iconic songs with concert-goers once more.

In a bold move, Cummings terminated certain rights agreements on Guess Who songs to prevent a different iteration of the band from performing live. This strategic legal maneuver paved the way for Bachman and Cummings to regain control of The Guess Who name, solidifying their status as the authentic representatives of the band. While the duo last performed together in 2003, sporadic collaborations as Bachman-Cummings kept their musical partnership alive, culminating in their upcoming tour.

Joining Bachman and Cummings for the 2026 shows are a talented lineup including Sean Fitzsimons on drums and vocals, Jeff Jones on bass and vocals, Nick Sinopoli on percussion and vocals, Tim Bovaconti on guitar and vocals, and Joe Augello on guitar and vocals. The revamped Guess Who promises a dynamic and electrifying performance, showcasing the enduring appeal of their rock classics to both longtime enthusiasts and new audiences.

Bachman, a founding member of Bachman-Turner Overdrive, recently spearheaded a revival of the iconic rock band, touring as BTO in 2023. With the release of their first new song in nearly four decades, Bachman-Turner Overdrive paid homage to fellow musicians Cummings and Neil Young, emphasizing the deep-rooted connections within the rock music community. As they prepare to hit the stage once more, The Guess Who is gearing up for an exhilarating musical journey that promises to captivate audiences across Canada and beyond.

As anticipation builds for their upcoming performances, fans are eagerly securing tickets to witness The Guess Who’s legendary music live. While some shows have already sold out, dedicated followers can still purchase tickets through reputable platforms such as StubHub, Vivid Seats, and Seat Geek. The timeless allure of The Guess Who’s music continues to resonate with audiences, ensuring that their legacy in the annals of classic rock endures.
