Joe Jackson Announces New Tour and First Rock Album in 7 Years
Joe Jackson is making a grand comeback with a thrilling announcement of an extensive 80-show international tour, kicking off with a series of North American concerts. Before hitting the road, he is set to release his much-anticipated first rock album in seven years, titled “Hope and Fury,” which is scheduled to drop on April 10, 2026, in three formats – compact disc, 180g vinyl, and digitally. Pre-orders are already open for this exciting new release.
The upcoming album follows the 2023 record “What a Racket!” which showcased music hall compositions recorded with a 12-piece orchestra. In a recent interview with the U.K.’s Chap magazine, Jackson expressed his ongoing passion for music, stating, “I always knew I was in this music thing for life, so every now and again, I’m going to do something different to keep it interesting.”
Recorded in Berlin and New York City, “Hope and Fury” was co-produced by Jackson along with Patrick Dillett and features talented musicians such as bassist Graham Maby, guitarist Teddy Kumpel, and drummer Doug Yowell. Noteworthy is the fact that Jackson’s last rock album, “The Fool,” will be turning seven years old by the time “Hope and Fury” hits the shelves.
The highly-anticipated 2026 tour is set to commence in May in Poughkeepsie, New York, with subsequent stops across Canada and the United States, including major cities like Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, and more. A special multi-night engagement is also planned in Chicago. Tickets for this thrilling tour will go on sale this Friday, Nov. 14, and will be exclusively available on Jackson’s official website.
