Black Label Society to embark on North American Tour in 2026
Black Label Society recently made an exciting announcement about their forthcoming 2026 North American tour. The band is set to hit the road on February 27, marking their first extensive tour since 2021. Zakk Sabbath, a tribute project by Zakk, will accompany them as direct support, while Dark Chapel will kick off the tour. Tickets for the tour will go on sale this Friday, November 14 at 10 am local time.
The news comes after Black Label Society unveiled three singles – “The Gallows,” “Lord Humungus,” and the latest release, “Broken and Blind,” from their upcoming album, the details of which are yet to be disclosed. Zakk Sabbath will serve as the supporting act, with Dark Chapel opening the show.
“Broken and Blind,” the band’s newest single, has been dropped through MNRK Heavy and Spinefarm Records, paired with a music video helmed by longtime collaborator Justin Reich. This single release follows earlier tracks “Lord Humungus” in 2025 and “The Gallows” in 2024, offering fans a taste of their highly anticipated album slated for early 2026.
Lead vocalist Zakk Wylde shared insights into what inspired their new song “Broken and Blind.” He humorously mentioned how his soul feels tormented if devoid of peanut butter and chocolate, capturing the essence of the track’s narrative. Zakk has been diligently working on a new Black Label Society album, with their last studio effort, “Doom Crew Inc.,” released in 2021. The album featured various hits, including “Set You Free,” “Destroy & Conquer,” and “Forsaken.”
Not only has Zakk gained fame for his work with Ozzy Osbourne and chart-topping band, but he has also delved into creating his signature coffee and organizing his music festival, The Berzerkus. In September, The Berzerkus was held at Poconos Park in Bushkill, Pennsylvania, featuring a lineup comprising Black Label Society, Clutch, Rival Sons, and more, alongside tribute acts for legendary bands like Led Zeppelin and Iron Maiden.
In 2023, Zakk Wylde joined forces with Pantera for a headlining tour after a hiatus of over 20 years. The tour commenced at The Pavilion at Star Lake in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania, near Pittsburgh. For Zakk, music revolves around one fundamental element – the riff, evident in their new singles and past hits, which have defined Black Label Society’s signature sound.
Black Label Society embodies Zakk’s raw and unbridled musical instinct, creating a fusion of heavy, bluesy, and intense hard rock-metal. Their music conjures a whirlwind of energy, both on records and live performances, showcasing the band’s unique blend of chaos and craftsmanship that has captivated fans for years.
