A slip of the tongue regarding Helene Fischer’s age by an ARD moderator at the tour press conference led to an amusing moment – with the singer correcting it right away. The incident took place at an event in Munich for the upcoming 360-degree open-air tour, where Helene Fischer plans to perform in front of a total of 750,000 fans. According to concert promoter Marek Lieberberg, 600,000 tickets have already been sold.

The lighthearted moment occurred during a “Brisant” interview in Munich. Susanne Klehn wanted to draw a comparison between Helene Fischer’s past and present. “Now you are a fully-grown woman. I turned 44 this year, you turned 42,” the moderator said to the singer. Fischer burst into laughter. “Why? What?” the stunned journalist couldn’t help but blurt out. The clarification came promptly: “Actually not yet,” the artist clarified with a laugh. Because: She only turned 41 on August 5.

With her usual composure, Helene Fischer corrected the minor mistake. “No, actually, when I finish the tour, in the summer, I will turn 42, so I am still playing it at 41,” she explained with a smile. Susanne Klehn also took her slip up in stride and found a charming turn: “In any case, we are both over 40 and still young sprouts.” The relaxed atmosphere once again displayed Fischer’s professional handling of such situations.

The press conference on Wednesday (November 12) primarily focused on Helene Fischer’s spectacular return to the stage. After the birth of her second daughter, the singer is coming back in 2026 with a mammoth tour. “It will indeed be a huge party,” she announced. “We want to throw the biggest party.” The tour will take her from June to July through Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. A 360-degree stage with catwalks will be set up in the middle of the stadiums. “I just wanted to be right in the middle of it,” Fischer explained the concept. By the way, Helene Fischer’s ex, Florian Silbereisen, recently experienced a special career milestone.
