This upcoming weekend in Cheyenne is filled with exciting events and activities for residents to enjoy. From Fred Armisen’s comedy show to live music performances and art walks, there is something for everyone to partake in. Starting on Friday evening, Fred Armisen will be entertaining audiences at The Lincoln with his show, “Comedy for Musicians But Everyone Is Welcome.” Meanwhile, music enthusiasts can head over to Blue Raven Brewery to watch Mark Daniel Wilkinson perform Americana classics from 5 to 8 p.m. The evening will continue with Gun Bingo Night at The Office Bar & Grill, offering attendees the chance to win prizes such as guns, cash, and silent auction items.

For art lovers, the Cheyenne Artwalk will be featuring local watercolorist Deena Harkins’ work at the Cheyenne Civic Center lobby. Guests can explore her award-winning pieces and immerse themselves in the beauty of Western landscapes. The event is open to the public on Friday at 5 p.m.

Families can also enjoy theatrical performances over the weekend, with “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs of the Black Forest” taking the stage on Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. Additionally, “Land That I Love,” a celebration of American western landscapes, will feature Grammy Award-winning cellist Zuill Bailey performing at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. This concert will debut CSO’s Composer in Residence, Jeff Lippencott’s “Pasturelands Cello Concerto” alongside other musical pieces.

For those interested in a creative workshop, Winter Rose Zentangle© will be offering a class on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Participants will learn how to create a beautiful paper rose while tangling the petals. Basic supplies will be provided, and pre-registration is required due to limited class sizes.

Lastly, music lovers can groove to Bobby Phillipps’ tunes at Blue Raven Brewery on Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. Bobby’s high-energy performance and vast repertoire of favorite songs will ensure a fun-filled evening for all attendees.
