The Dream Machine announces new album before upcoming Birkenhead concert
The Dream Machine, a band hailing from Wirral, has recently confirmed the release of their third album, along with a new single titled “Flowers On The Razor Wire.” Described as their most ambitious collection of songs yet, the five-member group is set to unveil their upcoming album, Fort Perch Rock, on Friday, February 27, 2026, through Run On Records. This exciting news coincides with the band’s UK Tour, featuring an anticipated performance in their hometown of Birkenhead at the Future Yard on Saturday, November 22.
After introducing the album’s title track last month, The Dream Machine showcases a vibrant energy in “Flowers On The Razor Wire.” This track captures a blend of rock influences, drawing inspiration from a mysterious second-hand comic book and the band’s experiences in Berlin. The album was recorded and self-produced in studios across Wirral and Liverpool, offering a total of 12 tracks available in various formats such as digital, CD, and limited edition colored vinyl.
While the band pays homage to musical icons like Dr. Dre, Mac DeMarco, Blossoms, and King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard in their latest work, their roots and influences remain deeply entrenched in their coastal hometown of New Brighton.
