Hayley Williams has achieved remarkable success with her latest album, “Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party,” which has soared to number twelve on the Billboard charts. This achievement is particularly impressive as it is a solo project entirely self-released, distinct from her previous work with Paramore, which had reached number one on the charts. In addition to its Billboard success, the album has also secured the top spot on various charts in the US, including Independent Albums, Vinyl Albums, Indie Store Albums, Top Album Sales, Top Current Album Sales, Rock & Alternative Albums, Rock Albums, and Alternative Albums. In the UK, the album has claimed a notable position at number ten on the overall album chart and has topped the charts for physical album sales. Furthermore, the album has made its mark in Australia and New Zealand, landing in the Top 20.

Following the album’s success, Hayley Williams announced her inaugural solo tour, “Good Dye Young Presents: Hayley Williams At A Bachelorette Party.” The overwhelming demand for tickets during the pre-sale led to the addition of multiple dates across the US, UK, and EU, all of which sold out in record time. This extensive tour covers North America, the UK, and Europe and includes performances by Water From Your Eyes on most dates, with additional support acts like Snuggle and Tiberius b in specific locations. Williams will be showcasing “Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party” in its entirety during the tour.

The announcement of the 68th annual GRAMMY nominations brought further accolades for Hayley Williams, as she received four nominations for her work on “Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party.” The album itself was nominated for Best Alternative Music Album, while individual songs such as “Parachute,” “Mirtazapine,” and “Glum” received nominations in various categories. Williams has previously been recognized at the GRAMMYs for her contributions to Paramore, with three wins out of five nominations. “Ego Death” has also garnered critical acclaim, securing the third spot overall on Meta-Critic.

Williams collaborated with producer Daniel James on “Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party,” where she not only wrote but also played and recorded multiple instruments on each of the album’s 20 tracks. Long-time collaborators Brian Robert Jones and Joey Howard also made significant contributions, along with Jim-E Stack on “True Believer,” which recently reached number one on the Billboard Alternative Sales chart. This album marks a significant milestone for Williams as it represents her first independent release following Paramore’s departure from Atlantic Records, marking the band’s newfound freedom after fulfilling their contract with the label. Williams has also released music videos for several tracks from the album, showcasing her versatility as an artist.
