Rock singer cancels remaining tour dates due to health concerns

He expressed his disappointment, stating, “It is in my nature to run and run until I run myself into the ground without giving a [expletive] about anything apart from the music and you guys but this time I’ve been told I have to take it seriously and can’t [expletive] around.”
The canceled shows are part of Yungblud’s “Idols World Tour” and were set to include stops in Philadelphia, Cleveland, and Washington, D.C. as well as dates in Mexico City and other locations across Latin America. Despite the setback, the musician reassured fans that all U.S. tickets will be refunded, and fans who provide their address will receive a special gift as a token of appreciation.
Yungblud expressed his sadness about the situation, acknowledging the disappointment that fans may feel. He stated, “My heart is broken. I don’t want (to) do any lasting damage to myself, we are on a journey that I want to last forever. I understand that some of you will be frustrated. I just want you to know this is so hard for me to do but I promise I will make it up to you.”
This decision comes after Yungblud collaborated with Aerosmith earlier in the year to release the single “My Only Angel.” The track debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Hard Rock Songs chart in September and serves as the lead single for the duo’s upcoming EP, “One More Time.” This collaborative project, consisting of five songs, is set to be released on Friday, Nov. 21, marking Aerosmith’s first new music since their 2012 album, “Music From Another Dimension.”
