Rock N Roll Circus to Present Classic Album Shows
Rock N Roll Circus recently announced a unique lineup for its upcoming return to Earlham Park in Norwich from August 21 to August 23, 2026. The festival is set to feature a special performance on Saturday, August 22nd, where The Kooks, The Vaccines, and The Fratellis will each showcase one of their iconic albums under the Big Top.
The Kooks, hailing from Brighton, will take the stage as the headliners on Saturday night, treating the audience to tracks from their highly successful debut album “Inside In / Inside Out,” which sold over 2 million copies and played a significant role in shaping a musical era. Even after more than two decades since its release, The Kooks continue to resonate with fans, both old and new. Achieving sold-out tours and making triumphant returns to major festival stages, the band has firmly secured a special place in the hearts of Gen Z listeners. Their debut album, featuring timeless anthems like “She Moves in Her Own Way,” “Ooh La,” and “Naïve,” remains an integral part of indie music culture long after its initial release.
London’s very own, The Vaccines, will also be part of the lineup, set to perform their explosive debut album “What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?” in its entirety. Launched in 2011, the album boasted hits such as “If You Wanna,” “Post Break-Up Sex,” and “Nørgaard,” helping to define a new wave of British indie music energy during that time.
Completing the trio is the Scottish band, The Fratellis, who will present their cherished debut album “Costello Music” from start to finish. The album, which included chart-toppers like “Chelsea Dagger,” “Henrietta,” and “Whistle For The Choir,” propelled the band to international stardom, earning them a BRIT Award and setting the stage for one of the most distinctive sounds of that era.
The lineup for Saturday is a significant milestone for Rock N Roll Circus’ 2026 return to Norwich, building on the success of its inaugural event from the previous year. The debut album of The Kooks, which sold over two million copies and became a soundtrack for a generation, has found a new wave of appreciation from fans, both old and new. With a loyal fanbase and a newfound audience in Gen Z, the band has reclaimed their status as festival headliners. The resurgence in interest in their Britpop-influenced indie sound, thanks in part to social media, has introduced their music to a broader audience.
Rock N Roll Circus will also bring its unique experience to Don Valley Bowl in Sheffield for the August Bank Holiday weekend from August 28 to August 30, 2026. The festival has already announced its first headliners, The Streets, for Friday, August 28, who will perform their acclaimed album “A Grand Don’t Come For Free” in full.
Known for its unforgettable performances, impressive production, and unmatched atmosphere, Rock N Roll Circus Sheffield is shaping up to be another exceptional edition of the festival. With additional acts and stage announcements on the horizon, indie music fans have much to look forward to at this year’s event.
