Korean girl group IVE recently achieved a significant milestone in the Japanese music industry. Their 2022 track “After LIKE” has crossed the remarkable 200 million streams threshold on Billboard Japan’s chart. This achievement marks the third song by the group to reach this impressive milestone, following their debut song “ELEVEN” and their second single “LOVE DIVE.”

This remarkable feat was officially confirmed by both Starship Entertainment and Billboard Japan on November 23, adding another feather to IVE’s cap. “After LIKE,” released on August 22, 2022, has been a fan favorite, blending elements of EDM, pop, and house music with a solid kick rhythm foundation. Notably, the song features an interpolation of Gloria Gaynor’s iconic 1978 disco hit “I Will Survive.” Its release was met with widespread success in Korea, dominating various music charts, earning a Perfect All-Kill (PAK) status, and winning 14 music show awards.

Additionally, “After LIKE” also fared well on the global music charts, spending a total of 17 weeks on the Billboard Global 200 chart and peaking at number 20. The track also made a notable appearance on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, remaining on the charts for 25 consecutive weeks and reaching its highest position at number nine.

Since their official debut in Japan in 2022, IVE has been making waves in the local music scene. Their performance at the prestigious Tokyo Dome in September 2024 as part of their world tour “SHOW WHAT I HAVE” attracted over 95,000 enthusiastic fans across two sold-out nights. In April 2024, the group embarked on their “IVE SCOUT” IN JAPAN fan concert tour, hosting 11 shows in four cities and drawing approximately 100,000 attendees. Their third Japanese EP “Be Alright” soared to the top of various music charts, further solidifying their stronghold in the Japanese market.

Moreover, IVE continued to captivate Japanese audiences by headlining the Rock in Japan Festival 2025, one of the country’s most revered music events. They also made prominent appearances on popular Japanese television programs, including NHK’s “Venue 101” and TBS’s variety show featuring Snow Man.

The group’s success doesn’t stop there, as they kicked off their second world tour titled “SHOW WHAT I AM” with sold-out shows in Seoul in late 2024. The tour is set to cover various continents, including Asia, Europe, North America, and Oceania, following a highly successful debut tour that attracted over 420,000 fans in 19 countries and 37 shows. With members An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo, IVE has firmly established itself as one of the leading fourth-generation K-pop girl groups, delighting fans around the world and solidifying their status as industry frontrunners.
